چکیده
BackgroundCardiotocography or nonstress test is a technical means of recording the fetal heartbeat and uterine contractions for antenatal monitoring.ObjectiveThis study aimed to evaluate whether antepartum cardiotocography with computer analysis (computerized cardiotocography) increases incidence cesarean delivery in women high-risk pregnancies but without intrauterine growth restriction.Study DesignThis was parallel group nonblinded randomized clinical trial singletons admitted inpatient monitoring between 24 0/7 37 6/7 weeks’ gestation. Eligible participants were randomly allocated 1:1 ratio either standard computerized cardiotocography. Women arm received cardiotocographic central station. The primary outcome delivery.ResultsOverall, 28 enrolled this trial. In addition, 14 control group. No woman excluded after randomization lost follow-up. Cesarean occurred 9 (64.3%) (relative risk, 1.00; 95% confidence interval, 0.21–4.69).There no significant between-group difference preterm birth, gestational age at delivery, Apgar score, birthweight.ConclusionAmong pregnancies, use did not result increase compared results single-center require confirmation multicenter studies. OBJECTIVE To estimate the effectiveness of intrapartum fetal monitoring by cardiotocography plus ST analysis using a strict protocol for performance of fetal blood sampling. METHODS We performed a multicenter randomized trial among laboring women with a high-risk singleton pregnancy in cephalic presentation beyond 36 weeks of gestation.
